Central PA Talent represents actors who are directable, imaginative, and humble. Our actors recognize the responsibility and adaptability required to add value to each project, on commercial spots, corporate and industrial work, independent film and regional television. We serve as the liaison between talent and client, ensuring expectations are clearly communicated on both sides, which saves clients hours of coordination.

Do you represent actors for film and television in central PA?
Yes. Commercial and broadcast spots, industrial and corporate video, independent film and voice over. Productions shooting in Lancaster, Harrisburg, York and Hershey book from this division regularly.
Can you handle a self tape audition?
Yes. Send the sides and the spec and our actors record and return tapes to your format. Self tapes are built into the talent portal, so the turnaround does not depend on chasing anyone by email.
What does an actor cost for a commercial?
The day rate is only part of it. Broadcast usage, the term and the territory all move the number, so a regional cable spot and a national campaign are different jobs. Send the brief and we quote it properly.
Do you book union and non union talent?
Tell us which you need when you brief the job and we will tell you honestly what we can field. Being straight about that up front is cheaper for you than finding out at the callback.
Do you charge a fee to sign with the agency?
No. Central PA Talent does not charge signing fees for representation. A one time $25 activation fee activates your talent account once you are signed, and it is the only fee we charge.
How do I apply to the acting division?
You submit a self tape. Pick one of the commercial scripts on the application, film it to the instructions, and send it with your headshots. We are looking for confidence and personality more than a perfect read.
How long should my self tape be?
No longer than two minutes. Start with your name and something interesting about you, keep it short, then perform your commercial. Film in a medium close up, in good light, in front of a plain wall.
Do I have to memorise the script?
No. You do not need to memorise your lines, and a teleprompter app is fine. Stay in one spot and make strong choices.
When will I hear back about my submission?
Submissions are reviewed quarterly and the review dates are not disclosed. Anyone selected for representation is notified by email. Calling the office will not speed up or change the decision.
Can I be with another agency at the same time?
Yes. We are non-exclusive, so you can be represented elsewhere and find work independently. You do need to confirm our contract does not conflict with anything you have already signed.
Booked in Lancaster, Harrisburg, York, Hershey, Reading and Lititz, and on location wherever a job takes us, from Pittsburgh to Baltimore, New York and Virginia.
