How much does it cost to book a model in central Pennsylvania?
Rates depend on the usage, the length of the shoot and how long you need the images. A half day for local web and social costs less than a full day with a year of paid broadcast usage. Tell us the shoot and the usage on the booking form and we come back with real numbers, not a range.
What areas do you cover?
Lancaster, Harrisburg, York, Hershey, Reading and Lititz are home. We travel for the job as well, regularly to Pittsburgh, Baltimore, New York and Virginia.
What is usage, and why does it change the price?
Usage is where the finished pictures run and for how long. A model is paid for the day and separately for the right to use their likeness, so a regional billboard for a year costs more than an internal training deck. Agreeing usage up front keeps you clear of a rights problem later.
How quickly can you send options?
Usually the same day for a straightforward brief. Tell us the date, the look and the budget, and you get a shortlist with availability already checked rather than a directory to search.
Do you charge a fee to sign with the agency?
No. Central PA Talent does not charge signing fees for representation. There is a one time $25 activation fee once you are signed, which activates your talent account so you start receiving casting calls, and it is the only fee we charge.
How do I become a model in central Pennsylvania?
Models meet us in person before anything is signed, so the first step is registering for an open call. You pick a check-in time, arrive camera ready, and the whole thing takes about an hour. Everything you need is provided on the day.
Do I need professional photographs to apply?
No. The photos you send do not need to be professionally taken. They should be well lit, in focus, free of filters, and shot against a plain background so we can see your natural appearance clearly.
Do I have to work only with Central PA Talent?
No. We are a non-exclusive agency, so you can be represented by other agencies and seek out projects independently. Before signing, you do need to confirm our contract will not conflict with an agreement you have already signed.
Do I need experience to apply?
No. We represent commercial and lifestyle models across every age range and size, and we cast for the job in front of us rather than a single narrow look. Plenty of our talent started with no experience at all.
Am I too old to start modeling?
Almost certainly not. Commercial and lifestyle work needs people who look like real customers, which means every age. Our roster runs from children through to talent in their seventies.
