About this division
Central PA Talent represents children ages 4 to 17 through our Youth Division. We provide each young performer and their family with the guidance and information needed to feel prepared and confident on set. Central PA Talent serves as the liaison between each talent and client, ensuring expectations are clearly communicated on both sides. This saves our clients hours of coordination, and we uphold our responsibility to effectively inform each parent of expectations.

Common questions
How do you book child models and actors in Pennsylvania?
Every booking in this division is arranged with a parent or guardian, who is on set for the day. You brief the job the same way as any other, and we handle the guardian side.
What are the rules on set hours for children?
Hours, schooling and breaks are governed by the child performer rules and we hold the line on them. That protects the child and it protects your production, because a shoot that runs a minor too long is your liability, not just ours.
What ages do you represent?
Toddlers through teens. Tell us the age range the role needs and we shortlist from there rather than sending you the whole division.
Does a parent have to be on set?
Yes. A parent or guardian accompanies every young performer, and we coordinate that with you so nobody is surprised on the day.
How do I get my child into modeling or acting in Pennsylvania?
Register them through the youth application. It covers both modeling and acting on one form, and a child only needs one registration to be considered for both. If we think it is a fit, you get an email with what happens next.
What ages do you represent in the youth division?
Four to seventeen. Babies and toddlers under four are handled separately, through our baby and toddler database, which has its own registration.
Do you charge parents a fee to sign?
No. Central PA Talent does not charge signing fees for representation. A one time $25 activation fee activates the talent account once your child is signed, and that is the only fee.
Does a parent have to come to the shoot?
A parent or legal guardian has to be at any scheduled meeting and must sign the minor talent contract. They do not have to be at the booking itself, but a reliable adult chaperone does have to be there and stay attentive the whole time.
Is my child too old to start at 14?
No. Teenagers are booked regularly for catalog, campaign and commercial work, and a fourteen year old starting now is entirely normal.
What does the schedule look like?
Most bookings happen during standard business hours, so a flexible daytime schedule matters for the child and for whoever is chaperoning. That is worth thinking about honestly before applying.
